1. Static & Retail /Door & Event QQI level 4 courses are made up of 100 hours of learning. Of this, 30 hours are direct contact between the student and instructor and 70 hours of self-directed learning. Candidates must complete their payment (Deposit of €70,) to participate in selected course. This must be paid in advance to book the place on a chosen course.Insight Security reserves the right to retain €70 of the deposit in the event of cancellation or if the student will not attend the course. If the student wants to reschedule the course date, he or she must inform us at least 72 hours before the course’s start date to avoid additional fees. All necessary learning materials will be available for students after completion of registration process.
2. All students are required to sit an English proficiency exam on the first morning of the course. This exam is designed to assess reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension skills. If a student fails this exam, he or she will no longer be eligible to participate in the course and their deposit will not be refunded.
3. Insight Security reserve the right to change dates of a course due insufficient numbers of candidates or emergency situation. Reasonable notice with new date of a course will be provided. Candidates can choose the date of a course that suits them, with no additional charge. If other course dates are unsuitable, we will make a complete refund.
4. Accreditation documents is submitted to QQI on monthly basis. It can take 4 to 6 weeks prior to you get your QQI certificate. It will be delivered to your actual address so, please make sure Insight Security have your present address, and it is your obligation to notify us of any changes.
5. Learners must have a B2 level in English or greater to participate in the course if English is not their first language. If candidates believes that they meet the language requirement they can attend the course. Trainer can verify ability of a candidate to effective communication, required to pass the assessments. 6. Candidates are obligated to provide their PPS number. Learners without Personal Public Service Number, will not be entitled to receive an QQI award, as it is a requirement of certification by QQI. Insight Security is QQI and PSA approved training provider through Security Institute. Candidates must also provide proof of ID (Passport, Driving Licence) along with one or two passport photographs, depend from chosen course.
7.Insight Security will not permit to use any recording devices during the course.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), Insight Security strictly prohibits the use of any recording devices during the course. This policy is designed to ensure the privacy and protection of personal data shared within the training environment. Participants are expressly forbidden from using any audio, video, or photographic recording devices, including but not limited to smartphones, cameras, and voice recorders.
By enforcing this policy, Insight Security aims to uphold the principles of data minimization and confidentiality outlined in the GDPR. Participants are expected to respect the privacy rights of both fellow participants and trainers by refraining from capturing, storing, or sharing any course-related content through recording devices. Failure to comply with this policy may result in immediate removal from the course, and legal actions may be taken in cases of unauthorized data capture or sharing. Insight Security is committed to fostering a secure learning environment, and adherence to GDPR guidelines is fundamental to achieving this objective.
Privacy Policy
8.Insight Security is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and share personal information in the course of providing security training services. We only collect that help us achieve the purpose set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect any additional data without notify you first. Data such your Name & PPSN number are entered onto the QQI awards system. Insight Security will not sell or share your data with other third parties. Students data will be stored until the purpose of collection of data has been achieved.Insight Security implements reasonable and appropriate physical, administrative, and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. You will be notify if your data is kept longer than this period. Payment details provided by candidate are not stored by Insight Security. We are using payment service Stripe for the purposes of processing credit/debit card data.
